Festyvent, Stagelink and FunToad Inc. from MarathonArtists LABs were amongst 30 startups from Europe, Japan, Israel and the US selected to join the Startup Garden at Sonar+D this year.
Under the banner of Creativity, Technology and Business, Sonar+D brought together people from the music business, performers & DJs, creatives, techies, startups and investors. This created a perfect blend of attendees for our teams to present tools for artists and music managers from Marathon Artists first music + tech accelerator.

FunToad Inc. presented their live experience platform for gigs to DJs, producers and made some key observations on user behaviors at live gigs during the Sonar festival which they are integrating into their product development.
Festyvent released and demo-ed their new dashboard heat map for events allowing bands and venue managers to identify most popular areas in the event.
Nikolas Schriefer from Stagelink met prominent artist managers, DJs & investors to discuss how Stagelink is transforming the way artists organise gigs, plan their tours and understand their fanbase.

Sonar+D is a unique startup and tech conference as it is placed within Sonar one of the largest music festivals that attracts nearly 100,000 people across all demographics. The seamless experience of moving between the Sonar+D conference into the live gigs at Sonar was an incredible experience. Our startup teams were able to see, hear and be with the audiences they are targeting as users and partners - the artists and creators - they are ultimately developing products for, their customers.
